The Homebuilt Homepage

A page dedicated to the compulsion to do it yourself.

(Even when going out and buying it would have been twice as fast and half the cost.)

I'm not really sure where my D.I.Y. habit came from. I could probably blame it on my parents. They gave my brother and me a set of the "How And Why Wonderbooks" and a whole set of Encyclopedia Brittanica when we were very young. I remember pouring over those books for hours and hours. One of the best ones was the one that detailed how a camera worked. It even included a cut away picture of a camera. VERY COOL!

So I grew up building things. I built chairs out of 2x4's and models planes, and radio control planes. I was always building something. As I grew, so did the variety of my interests. Planes, Cars, Guitars, Electronics, Art, Woodworking, Gardening, Welding, Pottery, Cooking, Comuters, Drafting, Building Machines... They all found their way into my life.

I finally decided to learn a little bit of html and thanks to my buddy Chris and Dave Raggett's great page, I am authoring this collection of some of my works and hosting some projects from other folks who suffer the same illness.
