Upcoming EventsVIP Support GroupYou are cordially invited to the monthly luncheon meeting of the Visually Impaired Persons Support Group. VIP meetings are usually held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the BGCB office. Meetings are convened at Noon with lunch and socialization. At 1 PM the speaker is introduced followed by Q & A’s.Since the fourth Wednesday of March falls just three days from our scheduled Quarterly Membership Meeting, we will combine the two meetings into one. Free Macular Degeneration MeetingRetina Associates of Kentucky and the Macula Vision Research Foundation (MVRF) SupportSight Lexington have joined together to sponsor SupportSight, the national series of educational seminars and regional support group meetings for people with or people who would like to team more about macular degeneration. Healthcare research has shown that support groups can be very helpful. Each meeting will consist of an educational topic followed by small group discussions for those who wish to participate. Blind BuddiesThe "Blind Buddies" Group of the Trinity Baptist Church, 1675 Strader Drive, Lexington, KY wishes to welcome all blind and visually impaired members of the community to visit their monthly meetings. You do not have to be a member of Trinity. The meetings are normally held on the first Sunday of the month at 2:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall (at the rear of the church).For more information call Trinity at (859) 254-6795.
