Icebreaker: When is your mind most at rest? Scripture References: 1 Peter 1:3-4 We have, through His power and ability, been given everything it takes to live a life devoted to Him. This is true of us, but it happens only as our knowledge of Him increases. The more we know Him, and are changed by that knowledge, the more we see His great promises come to life! By being born again, we share in His divine nature inwardly. As we grow in knowledge of Him, in closeness to Him, we begin to see and experience this divine nature outwardly (and so do others). This is our goal on earthto grow in Him, to know Him more, and to be changed by Him into His own Sonšs image. Questions: 1) Share some ways in which you have come to know Him. 2) Why is it so important to grow in knowledge of God? 3) What can you do to make sure you grow more in this knowledge? ACTION! Pray for each other that you might grow in the knowledge of God and of Jesus that we might all experience grace and peace in abundance! |
