News

I've decided to move my website to a host unrelated to my ISP so that it will remain in the same place no matter how often I move. The new site is located at www.chris-crockett.com. There's a new e-mail address that goes along with the site as well, Chris@Chris-Crockett.com. Just so's you know.

Well, the good news is that my Diabetes is coming under control. I've had a good blood sugar day. The bad news is that I still have no job. Good news again is that I do have one really good potential opportunity. Anywho, now I've got to find a source for some health insurance (assuming that the job opportunity doesn't pan out).

The biggest event in my life lately (and quite possibly the bigest event in my life so far) is that I have recently been diagnosed with adult-onset Type 1 diabetes. This is not a good thing... but it's not a catastrophic thing either. I just get to test myself three times a day (or more) and inject myself with insulin four times a day. Nothing too onerous, though I reccommend that you avoid it if you can.

Right now I am staying with my parents, relaxing and recuperating for a while. Most of my symptoms are going away, though the most annoying thing is that the lenses in my eyes are changing shape (due to changes in my blood glucose levels) and my eyes are having trouble compensating. The doctor says this should correct itself within a month though, so I'll be fine.

I'm currently working on a campaign for White-Wolf's fantasy universeExalted. I'm thinking about running a playtest game with the MSU to work the kinks out, then running the game for my Sunday group.
