I have a new chariot... the bronze one has been destroyed. I was in a collision with a black 1999 Camaro which occured because the other driver pulled out in front of me as I was driving home from seeing The Matrix: Reloaded (a fine film but not the subject tonight). My car was totalled but the collision was witnessed by a Lexington Police Officer. The best news is that I was almost entirely unhurt, the good news is that my insurance is covering the collision more than adequately and I now have a new car. I purchased a new Saturn Ion 3, Manual transmission, ith a sunroof. Like the last time I bought a Saturn I found one on the lot which fulfilled my desires, test drove it and drove it off of the lot. Overall this has turned out well (except of course that I now have a five year loan again instead of the last two years of one).

I have no one to write love letters to. This is not to say that there is no one I want to write such letters to but fate seems to consipre against my romantic endeavors. Feh...

I may soon have a special visitor. Someone that I am very much looking forward to seeing again. Someone from a place to the southwest of me. My spirits haven't been the highest lately but I'm pretty certain that my potential visitor can help me with that quite a bit.

I've got a bunch of new neighbors now. Actual people that I know within my own apartment complex. People who ask me to dinner and hang out in each other's apartments. Of course, this also means helping people move. This, along with end-of-semester activities has worn me a bit thin at the moment. Nevertheless things are more interesting now. More fun.

Unfortunately I still need a job. Nothing has landed yet and not even a nibble has seriously presented itself. At least the government has established a system to help me through all of this.

So, the time has come for me to redesign my website. This act was forced by a change in the configuration of the server this site is on, but what the hey, it was about time anyway. So, here is my new website which I have designed as a static page (unlike my former design) using modern standards-compliant techniques, generally XHTML and CSS level 1 markup (with a sprinkling of CSS2). You should know that the site is currently designed for 800 pixel wide viewing with Mozilla 1.3 but a current version of Internet Explorer works almost as well.

Lately I've been searching for a job. Not too hard mind you since I've got some contract work bringing the moolah in but still looking. I figure I'll keep myself in business after I find a job to keep the extra work, money and tax deductions. Right now I don't have a tremendous amount of work to do though so I generally hang out with my friends, play video games, card games and board games, write gaming material and stay up entirely too late. Cripes sometimes life is better than it seems. I really wish I could live the rest of my life this way but, you know, money and stuff.
