About Us |

We are Terri and Doug De Yong. We are located in north central Tennessee, a little less than an hour north of Nashville.
Our quality and health management program ensure that our goats well-being gains our first priority. We have select genetics in our herd and use a variety of breeding strategies to provide our customers with both show class as well as commercial meat breeding goats.
Our show herd is culled extensively for conformation to breed standards. The commercial herd is culled to include only those animals that have superior production attributes and provide ease of management. While maximizing the genetic potential we also require our goats to maintain their ability to flourish on browse and forage found in our woods and rolling hills.
We have 60 acres available to us and we use that for both grazing and our own hay production. We generally maintain between 30-50 head of primarily full blood Boer goats.
We are avid supporters of 4-H and FFA, especially when it comes to goats. Doug is a 4-H group leader and is also a University of Tennessee Certified Master Meat Goat Producer. We strongly feel that that Boer goat is a wonderful animal and are proud to be a part of the industry and focusing on continuing improvement.
