On the Road Again. . .
An Online Diary of a some guy's (who you've probably never heard) vacation trip.
Hi there, well we're almost off, less than 9 hours before we go (and yes I should be in bed right about now. . .). For those of you who just got here, I'm taking a small vacation up to Michigan. So what exactly is this page about???? I thought it would be interesting to keep an online page/diary of my trip, what's hopping ect. . unfortunately I don't have a digi cam yet (digital camera for those of you who don't speak tech), so I may not have any pictures up until I get back. I will bring my scanner (if I can find a place to hide it. . .;), if by chance anyone we're visiting has a Polaroid camera, then I can get some pixs up.
Who is this page for??? Basically anyone, but I thought it would be neat for my friends and family to see. . .I'm just throwing this all together, please forgive any errors or unprofessionalisms (is that even a word?!?!?) (this is the first time I have attempted any thing like this before). Kick back, enjoy the ride, and well see if I can actually up date this on the road. . .
Start of week:
Well, for no apparent reason, here is what I did the week before I leave/left. (Hey this is my home page isn't it. . .) Feel free to skip down to the trip section.

10:00am - Getting ready to go to Middlesborrow to do a small Foot ball field sound system. . .had to miss the 608. . .crap. 4:00pm - Left to Middlesborrow, long week ahead. . . |
| Monday 8-21-2000 |
8:00am - Starting work. . finally get the lift there, start to realize that I don't want to be 45 feet up in the air trying to lift a >70lb speaker. . .(but the view was great. . .when I took my mind off of "other" things. . .) 5:00pm - 2 speakers down, 2 speakers to go, starting to hang the first horn (2 of them) 5:30pm - Finally for the first time, after messing around with aiming the horn, actually feel comfortable on the lift, wobbling in the wind. . .wishing the week was over. |

8:00am - Work on the last 2 speakers and last horn. . .on the light pole that has electric lines running all over it. . .starting to ask "what the hell am I doing up here???" (wind is starting to pick up) Just want to get this done with. 6:00pm - DONE!!! I don't have to get up on that lift again. ..yeah!. . Uh oh NOOOOOO!!! One of them isn't working correctly (by no fault of my own). . .$#%@ Back up there again. . . 7:00pm - Finaly done again!!! System sounds GREAT!!! |

8:00am - Training Time 10:00am - We are done, every one is happy, the week is basically over (for us anyway :). Time for a little sight seeing, went and saw the Cumberland Gap (Daniel Boon stuff), and a few other places |

Vacation Time!!!
Just a quick schedule of what we plan to do. . . underneath this will be my daily (if possible) update.

Kinda loosely planned. . need to see some more good friends in Lansing, might wait and do that mon/tue or something. Visit old house, stay with my Aunt Kay (I think that is where we are staying), go to some dancing concert at night. (some how someone got like a bunch of tickets, hey why not. :) Also need to visit at least one of my Grandma's. . .so many family so little time. . . | |

Well that's if for tonight, I really should get to bed now. I'm sitting here wondering why I'm even doing this page, after all, is anyone really interested in this. probably not, but hey what the heck, at least I will get more experience with webpages. . .at it might be a novelty for friends and family. . .and everyone else in the world who might happen to stop on by, well they will realize just how crazy I am. . .;) (Hmm, should I spell check this now. . .ok I'll spell check this, but I'm tired, I'll error correct this on the road. . .)
