- These people are the leaders of one of gay America's largest grassroots charity organizations, the Imperial Court system.
- Jose Sarria
- Sarria has never actually been to Lexington...yet..., but he founded the Imperial Court system that has its first outpost east of the Mississippi River. Sarria was also the first openly gay person to run for public office in the world.
