I have started a new version of the USB interface with on board buffering for the image. This should allow a totally uniform readout unlike the QuickAudine. It will cost 2-3x more
but should produce no artifacting due to pauses during USB transfer. It is also going to be flashable through the USB port. This version will also transfer the data twice as fast via the USB
but it will not be any faster than the QuichAudine. Stay tuned. Here a some construction photos.

I really need a re-flow oven hand soldering the 64 pin processor is really intense. Below are shots of the processor pins through my kids QX3 microscope at 60x.
Without inspecting all of the solder joints on the flat pack and reworking them this would be impossible to build correctly.
