Laser Chiller for Coolant Loop

I recently purchased a ThermoTek T252-P1 thermoelectric chiller for a Holmium medical laser on EBay. This is a custom unit made by ThermoTek for GE medical which has a 250W cooling capacity and can be set to maintain it's fluid loop between 4C and 40C. It also contains an air dryer, but I am not using this currently. It contains it's own circulator pump which runs at about 1/2 GPM. It has a 400ml sump. ThermoTek doesn't provide any support for this unit because it's custom and made for GE, if you ask them about it they will get a little cranky. Apparently these thinks are showing up and EBay a lot and they keep getting calls. Their similar unit T255P sells for around $3000. I spent $305.

It will hold my coolant loop at 4.18C and works like a charm allowing the camera to run at -25C. I had serious condensation problems to address. I sleeved the coolant hoses with Armaflex closed cell foam nitrile pipe insulation. For the camera I created a cavity over the water cooled back made of cardboard and lined with foam tape as you can see below. I filled this with urethane foam. When it cured I sawed off the excess. I then made a jacket for the camera out of Armaflex sheet and Armaflex 520 adhesive. I used thin double sided tape to adhere the Armaflex sheet at the front edge of the camera and around the connectors
