Here is a new water cooled back I had made

After a long absence due to a job change I'm working on my camera and getting ready

to return to doing some imaging.

I have a few projects in the works as well.  First I'm starting another USB interface for the camera

called AGEUI that has an on board image buffer. Field upgradable firmware.

It will allow zero artifacting from the USB due to transmission irregularities.

I've also been having a new water cooled back and coldfinger machined

from copper that will allow the use of a new sealed peltier.

Revised QuickAudine code for KAF3200 see QuickAudine page. Requested by Daniel Holler.

John Pike and I have been making a filterwheel .

I constructed a QUICKAUDINE USB Interface. Wrote some code for it, made a board etc.

I Got some of my first images through the new interface and with my new KAF402ME sensor including NGC 3718 and 3729

I take CCD images of celestial objects from near Berea Kentucky, or more specifically:

	37° 37' 08.161" N	84° 14' 45.553" W	328.70m

(Why do I think these coord are real?  I averaged 300,000 gps samples with SAWATCH)

I don't yet have an observatory so I do all of my observing from the driveway. My scope is mounted on wheels and I roll it out to capture images. My 'operating position' is at a desk located just inside the garage. This gives me access to more or less the entire eastern half of the Sky. The western half is blocked by my house. This is not a great loss because it's fairly light polluted. To the east there isn't a large city till well into Virginia. Currently the limiting magnitude reaches down to about 5.

Here is a 'Site Pan' it covers about 270° from North on the left to West on the right.

If you have a good connection or patient nature click for a (much) larger image. It's kind of cool.
