Video Finder Scope

I bought a PC164C .0003 lux b/w security camera from SuperCircuits. Mounted this on my rail along with a Celestron slow motion tripod head which gives adjustment knobs for altitude and azimuth. The Camera has a 55mm F1.2 camera lens attached which gives it a field of view of about 5x7 degrees.

Here is a picture of the camera head.

The video from the camera passes through a video crosshair generator and then a distribution amp. From there it feeds a 12" monitor at my observing position, an ATI frame grabber card in the scope control PC and finally a small 'rover' display which is a 4" TFT LCD Monitor with a 30' cable which can be carried out to the scope. Here a pictures of these:

The crosshair generator is visible under the lamp and the 12" monitor on the right.
This is the portable 'Rover' display. It can be carried to the scope for adjusting the finder, collimating via video. Whatever.
Here is an image composed of 400 frames grabbed by COAA's AstroVideo I didn't bother with darks thus the streaking. The image is of my artificial star 57 meters distant. A simultaneous view through the main scope appears on the artificial star page.
