My sweet Besita, you were my saving grace! You came to me during a time of sadness and uncertainty, like a little guardian angel sent to help heal my soul. You were always there to welcome me home those first years when it was just you and me learning to take care of ourselves on our own. You were the most loving and gentle creature I'd ever known, and you certainly liked to talk... to birds, to me. It was like we had our own language. Our connection was undeniable; you were mine and I was yours. Thank you for finding me, and for the love and admiration of animals you instilled in my children with your tolerant and gentle nature. You will be forever in my sweet memories.
