Pack 98 Pinewood Derby
- We will have racing and three style competitions: most original car, best paint job, and best car replica.
- The car must be new for this year (not raced in previous Derbies).
- You must use the official Pinewood Derby Kit, including the wood block, wheels, and axles.
- The car must not be longer than 7 inches, or wider than 2.75 inches (including wheels).
- The front and rear axles must be 4.25 inches apart.
- The wheels must be at least 1.75 inches apart.
- There must be 0.375 inches of clearance under the car body.
- The car must weigh five ounces or less.
- Only lubricate with graphite or powdered Teflon.
- The car can only be powered by gravity.
- Do not use wheel bearings, washers, bushings, hubcaps, liquids, or any loose materials.
- The wheels and axles can not be changed except for polishing.
