On this and associated pages we will try to create a Home-Page
for bringing together all the threads of the Jessica Dubroff
story. As the whole world knows, on April 11th, 1996
Jessica, her father Lloyd, and her flight instructor Joseph Reid,
lost their lives when their Cessna
177B aircraft crashed in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The world has
speculated far and wide about this accident. The NTSB has
released a PRELIMINARY
REPORT, but it contains nothing definitive about the
accident. The final National Transportation Safety Board report,
usually thought of as the official cause, will not be released
until April, 1997 or later. In the interim we will attempt to
assimilate and link to the latest available information.

Or, just go directly to A PILOT'S PERSPECTIVE on Jessica's tragedy and how to avoid another like it
Jessica's grave is in a plain and simple setting in the gently rolling hills just outside Pescadero. From the small visitor seat, built of Cedar logs, to the oblong enclosure of rocks, and the flowers already growing, and tended regularly by her family, to the delicate birdbath at the opposite end, the grave is beautiful in its simplicity.
Want to know who left this model airplane at the gravesite? You might find out by moving to the Writer-Pilot Resume button. Once there, browse the page and find the link to the current FAA information page. Follow the instructions for locating information, but instead of searching for pilot credentials, search the "N" number data base for the number on the top wing of the red and white model. Good luck with your identification.
With these simple photographs we hope we have left you some feeling for the place where Jessica has been laid to rest. I encourage you to do what so many others have done that have been so deeply touched by this tragedy. Stop off for a few minutes. Sit on the small log seat. Contemplate this scene. Then make a vow in your heart that you'll remember Jessica always.
