These are pictures of me taken while I was in the Marines
was, and still am, a little camera shy so I don't have many
Count your blessings!
This is a picture of me taken in Hong Kong during Liberty. I really haven't changed much since then. Except I let my hair get a little longer. This was taken in 1992 after the Phillipines.
This is my fireteam in Hawaii, on the big island after a training op. We are tired and want to go home. The guy kneeling is not a member of my fireteam however. Standing from left to right; Lance Corporal Brown (my Automatic Rifleman), Me, Lance Corporal Hutchison (A senior rifleman), and on the far right is Pfc Valochovic (a rifleman).
This is me in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. Behind me is the muzzle of a 155mm cannon from 12th Marines. This picture was taken just prior to the ground assault. Somewhere in the middle of nowhere. I was more interested in returning to civilization than killing Iraqis, but such is war.
This is me in Saudi, prior to Desert Storm (during Desert Shield). I'm just hanging out on my cot wishing the war would hurry up and resolve itself, one way or another. I had to take off my M203 tube to put on the bayonnet my brother sent me.
This is me in Germany standing in the entrance to some castle somewhere.
This is 3rd Platoon in Okinawa during some nameless training op. Although you can't see anybody's face or anything I thought I would put it here for to the heck of it. I'm the tall guy in the back with a bush on his head.
I'll be adding more pictures as I find them and convert them so stay tuned.
