One day I was really pissed off at the human race, so I wrote a poem. It does have a handful of profane words in it (dad & mom) but if they weren't in there then the purpose would be defeated. I categorize it as Slam Poetry, and you'd get the "beat" more if you hear how I meant for it to be read. Maybe I'll make a podcast thing of it sometime. So, here you go. Oh and parents, please take the poem as a poem and try not to just criticize for the cussing, thanks.
"For the Betterment of Mankind"
Why
I find myself asking me
does everything have to be
such a goddamn problem?
You're different? That's unacceptable
And this hatred is imperceptible
This fear of change is not what's right
this seclusion
these illusions
And I'm tellin' you these fucking
DELUSIONS
have got to be stopped
Peace my siesta
CHILL
those who are going to kill will kill
But you my friend
Can help make the world into one
big symphony
We
Individual but playin' the same tune
Your piano and my flute
Bring out the peacemaker from within
If pullin' it together is a sin
Then
I will burn
All we need is patience
'Cause I don't know how much longer I can take this
hypocritical humanity bullshit

It's still a work in progress actually, I intend it to be at least two times as long when I finish, if I finish. Depending on the responses that I get from it, I might just keep it like it is.
Love & Peace,
