A man was taken from the world today
His friendship we cherished dear
But now let us shed a tear

O, Good Saint!
Watch over us in our despair
As you stand in the glory of the Lord our God
This moment is bitter sweet brother Mark
Could you not stay a day?

So painfully jealous
It hurts my heart
I shed a tear, for my friend is gone
But I spare a smile for he is with God

Let us pray for Brother Mark
today as we grieve
And when all of our words have finally been said
And all of our tears shed
We shall pray;

Our Father who art in heaven
hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come
They will be done
on earth as it is in heaven
give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil
for Thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory
forever and ever.
