The Quilt...

This Project began back in Jan. of this year. My mother just began quilting a year earlier and wanted to do a joint quilt. This is my very first one out of two planned. To the left is a close up of one of the quilting blocks in color.

 

Above...is a picture of the beginning phase...cutting the pieces. And, to the right, is a photo of the pinning process. After we had sewn all the pieces together it gets pinned before quilting so everything stays in place. Almost every little section gets a safety pin. It takes awhile!

We are still actually working on quilting it. It's not finished.
