Hints of Perfect

Hints of Perfect is a mixed media series that combines photographic portraiture and fictional writing. The people are portrayed as posed, simple characters. The writing is not always present or visible in the work, in whole, but there is a story behind each piece. It is mainly up to the viewers, to fill in their own story. The writings and images portray moments that may be between individuals or with ones self, that are awkward, vulnerable and honest; the silent moments we try to express our selves. This is explored with constructed scenes, stories, material and composition.
