Failure:

To say can't is to fail before you begin.

Impossibilities:

Nothing is impossible, only difficult.

Pride:

Pride, if valuable at all, is valuable within.  If it must be shown to others - whether to god in prayer or to the meek in terrifying deeds - then it was false pride al along, seeking support from outside the self.  Those who are insecure require proof of their greatness.  True greatness neither sees itself, nor asks.

Strength and Weakness:

To think yourself strong is an illusion, think yourself weak and it will be so.   TRY to be strong.

War and Honor:

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

-John Stewart Mill

Perfection:

Your quest is perfection?   Give up your quest and you will have achieved it.   Strive to be a little more skillful each day.  Never say, 'It is done,' but 'It is beginning.'  Never say, 'I do well,' but , "I will do better.'  Seek to perfect nothing.  Rather, seek to improve.  Assume nothing achieves its apex.

Cowardice and Bravery:

All men fear, but only a coward lets it stop him, a fool ignores it and a brave man uses it to accomplish heroic deeds.

Victory:

Supreme excellence consists of breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting.

-The Art Of War
by Sun Tzu

War and Peace:

You cannot appreciate peace unless you first know war.

Professionals:

Fools have adventures, professionals have expierences.

Victory and Defeat:

To secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands, but the opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself.

-The Art Of War
by Sun Tzu

Fools:

Nothing is fool proof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Fools 2:
