Critters Workshop is a really cool online writers workshop.

I have a multitude of short stories I am in the process of submitting and two novels I am editing and preparing for submission. One novel is Fantasy (120,000 words so far) and one is Military Science Fiction (75,000 words). I also have two novels that are partially finished.

Biographical Information

I was born September 19, 1969 in Pasadena California. I'm a Virgo bachelor. I'm 6'3", 210lb and I have hazel eyes.

Presently I am a Technical Support Specialist for LockNET in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

Before that I was a Security Lieutenant (for Wackenhut at an international corporate headquarters) and a part time alarm installer. In Miami I was a Security Lieutenant. As a Security Officer I've worked a multitude of details from Bodyguard details for former presidential candidates to undercover work both armed and unarmed. I've also been a patrol Sergeant.

Before becoming a Security Officer though I was a squad leader and a Corporal in the Marine Corps Infantry. First Battalion Third Marines. I served in Saudi for Desert Storm/Desert Shield and I was on the squad that won first place at the Battalion and Regiment SuperSquad competition. The squad went on to win second place at the Division Competition.

I graduated from High school at Frankfurt American High School in Frankfurt Germany. I was really into JROTC where I achieved the rank of Cadet Major. I was the Fancy Drill Team Commander, Saber Guard Commander, Alpha Company Commander and assistant Precision Drill Commander.

I have been to Germany, Okinawa, Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, Korea, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

I hate the Desert. I really don't like the cold. I like excitement and adventure, I also like my sleep.

My favorite color is black and maroon. My favorite movie is Star Wars and my favorite book is "The Warlock In Spite of Himself" by Christopher Stashelf. I like soft rock, with some classical and heavy metal (go figure!). I HATE rap music. I mean I really, REALLY HATE rap music.

  Personal Interests 

Reading and Writing (Science Fiction and Fantasy), Martial Arts, Paintball, Computers (mostly games) and dreaming. I am also familiar with Astral Projection and reincarnation.

I believe it is never to late to have a happy child hood.   :)

I play paintball on Saturdays (when I can afford it - which isn't often) at AIR ASSAULT. An excellent field just south of Nicholasville.

On the MSN Gaming Zone I'm known as PantherKnight. I do not belong to any clans, I have yet to find one I really like (and I don't spend a whole lot of time on it anyway).

I also play Ultima Online.   My primary character is a Paladin of Guild of Avalon (GoA) known as Warcat.  I also have bard known as Panther, a Tinker known as Oscellot and a tailor known as Elves.  I frequent the Atlantic shard.  See my Ultima Online page for more details.

I am really into small unit tactics, from infantry operations to SWAT techniques and tactics.
