Lesbian Herstory Archives

The Lesbian Herstory Archives is actually two organizations: the archives itself, and a tax-exempt foundation. Both share the same address, however:

Lesbian Herstory Archives (or Lesbian Herstory Educational Foundation, Inc.)
PO Box 10116
New York City, NY 10116

Phone: 718/768-DYKE (718/768-3953)
Fax: 718/768-4663

Alexis Danzig, who came through Kentucky with the Herstory slide show, can be accessed at yeap@nycnet.uu.holonet.net.

The archives itself is not incorporated and is community-based. Contributions to the foundation, however, are tax-exempt. Not sure what the mechanism is between the two, as far as, if you give a donation to the foundation, does it go directly to the archives? They can tell you more about it.

The archives its actually located in Brooklyn, but I don't have a street address.
