Warning Description: Winter Storm Warning

Warning Date: 4:12 am EST on February 9, 2010

WarningSum:...Winter Storm Warning Remains In Effect Until 6 Pm Est
Wednesday...

Warning Message:A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 PM EST
Wednesday.
Snow will continue today. In addition to the 1 to 2 inches
expected around daybreak...another 1 to 2 inches is expected
today. This may be limited by the snow changing over to rain for
a period of time late this morning and early afternoon. By late
afternoon...any precipitation will change back to snow. A lull in
the snow is expected this evening...but more snow will wrap in
tonight and Wednesday. This will push storm total accumulations
to 4 to 6 inches. Furthermore...windy conditions will develop
late tonight resulting in blowing and drifting snow through
Wednesday.
A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means significant amounts
of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. If you must
travel...keep an extra flashlight... food...and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
