Well, I keep wishing for the election to come and go... but it looks like it's going to do it's best to stick around... Let me say that Al Gore's behavior post election 2000 is a major reason I'm faltering in my Democratic party loyalty these last few years... I was disgusted by the post election bullshit and the puling and cavilling over "stolen elections". I hoped it was all behind us... but it's ready to pounce again this year... As far as this story goes... if you don't check the box on your voter registration that says you are a U.S. citizen... ... ...well, you can't expect to have your registration approved!!!

Is it just me... or do you get an image of Mr. Burns hitting a button on his desk and a wall panel sliding back to reveal a room full of lawyers ready to pounce when you read this:

The DNC has 10,000 lawyers on call, including six "SWAT squads" that are ready to deploy on the orders of Mr. Kerry and his campaign staff. The team is headed by Steven Zack, whose law partner, David Boies, argued for former Vice President Al Gore before the Supreme Court in 2000.
