Well, just when it looked like this was going to be a slow news day... The New York Times has been running with this story since yesterday. I mean really running with it... unfortunately it turns out that the much focussed on explosives weren't secured by U.S. troops because they weren't there. Our troops were in the Al Qaqaa storage facility on their way to Baghdad but found no such explosives present. The NBC news team inbedded with the troops doing the searching also reports that the explosives in question were not present. Of course the New York Times is still pounding this story... ignoring the facts or camoflaging them... wait for it... on page THREE of the story!! Wow! I though a page two burial was dishonest... but a page three? They really don't want you to read that part. So much for October Surprises...
