Wow... I have a blog?

Yeah, I know, it's like I dropped off the face of the earth or something. Frankly, I'm swamped with non-blog-projects right now. Which is really a good thing. I think that at one point in my life, you could guage how miserable I was by the frequency of my posting. By that logic, I'm feeling pretty good lately... and that just happens to be true. EOP has been really good to me so far. Aside from making more money (which is always nice with a little one on the way,) they also have a much more contemporary outlook on design. Those of you familiar with Anabelle's Restaurant downtown, have some understanding of the kind of work we do there. Very different from the predictable traditionalism of my last place of employment.

My sister, Beth, reminded me of something our father said a few years back before he retired: "When your work starts to feel like a job, it's time to look for different work." You have to be very observant too, because it happens so slowly that, you might not notice how miserable you are for a while... or until you aren't miserable any more.

Oh yeah, still no baby. This friday is the official due date for Mr. Owen. However according to Ashley's dreams, we should be looking at April 3rd instead.
