Back in the Saddle

It's not that I haven't been trying to post... I fell victim to the mysterious "broken pipe" and EOF errors. So, I basically couldn't upload anything to my site. That seems to be working properly tonight so the posts that I felt were still relevant are here now... I know, not much. :( Oh well. I'll try to refine some of my recent paper musings into posts in the near future.
