Hydrogen Technology Applications

Hydrogen Technology Applications

The initial buzz that led me to this website was full of accolades but seemed to be avoiding details. I guess when something seems too good to be true, we have to be suspicious... You know there's a sucker born every minute.

In any case, I am a huge fan of hydrogen power. I have no interest in hybrid or electric cars at all. Dennis Klein's invention seems very promising (if it does 1/2 of what he claims.) I can understand a little bit of secrecy with trade secrets so I'm not surprised he hasn't been explaining the process in detail yet. Let's hope he gets his patents and cuts some deals with companies who will put this thing into production.

The company's website provides more details but nothing that looks scientifically convincing. The bulk of research has thus far been focussed on deciphering the composition of the HHO gas which is the foundation of the discovery. Usually electrolysis (separating H2O into H and O) results in H2 and O2 molecules. However Klein is creating his HHO gas from water, the resultant material is a very odd combination of Hydrogen, Oxygen and various combinations and formations of them. The scientific paper, downloadable at the website, goes into great detail about the characteristics and testing of the resultant gas. If you have a good head for Chemistry and Physics, Take a look at it. Ultimately what intrigues me are the applications for HHO. I eagerly await more inventions based on this technology!

Dowload the Fox News clip on this invention for the layman's demonstration.
